Description
The Beontag ECO Meal U8 is a recyclable, microwave-safe RAIN RFID tag specifically developed for food packaging in ready-made meal applications.
Unlike conventional RFID tags, it does not need to be removed before heating and can safely remain in the microwave, up to 5 minutes at 950W, without safety risks or loss of performance.
Made from paper, the tag is easy to recycle and designed to be eco-friendly. It uses the NXP UCODE 8 chip and works globally on 860–960 MHz, making it suitable for food supply chains.
Tested against IEC 60068-2-67 and JESD22-A104-B standards for temperature, humidity and mechanical stress, the tag delivers reliable performance throughout its lifecycle, from production to point of sale.
